CB Investigations / Cross-platform findings

What we find when we test every platform the same way.

A CB Review covers one platform. An Investigation covers one finding — a pattern that only becomes visible once you have tested several operators identically, with real money, and compared the results. These are the pieces no single review can produce.

Every figure in these pieces comes from a documented CB test with a published Review behind it. Where CB has not tested something, it says so rather than filling the gap.

The same withdrawal costs $0.15 on one site and $8.84 on another

CB withdrew real money from five crypto casinos and checked every fee against what the blockchain actually charged. On the worst platform tested, the fee was roughly one hundred times the real network cost — and support explained it incorrectly when asked.

Investigation 008 · 13 July 2026 · Real-money cycles

Five crypto casinos. Five wagering locks. Not one told us before we deposited.

Every platform CB has tested blocks you from withdrawing your own deposit until you have wagered it. This is not a bonus rule — it applies to your money, with no bonus claimed. Two operators cited AML when asked; one declined to; two were never asked.

Investigation 004 · 18 June 2026 · Odds captured live

Are crypto sportsbook odds actually competitive?

CB priced five World Cup matches across four crypto sportsbooks. Three posted identical prices from a shared feed. One priced independently — and beat every individual traditional bookmaker CB checked.

More Investigations follow as CB completes testing. The next candidates: whether the fee markup pattern holds across more operators, and how advertised KYC thresholds compare with the point verification actually triggers.
